About Chris Prosman

Chris is the architect of the learning environment and Head of Product at Theorio. To him, learning is not a necessary evil or a boring task, but a discovery journey that should be engaging, interactive and genuinely enjoyable. With a sharp focus on user experience and educational innovation, he refuses to accept rote memorization as the standard.

From day one, Chris designed the platform with one clear goal in mind: helping every learner become truly ready to pass. He replaced thick theory books with a smart, dynamic learning environment. By combining gamification, interactive videos and algorithms that adapt to each learner's level, he has created a product that reduces exam anxiety and sparks intrinsic motivation. At Theorio, learning feels less like homework and more like a meaningful challenge.

Chris is building Theorio's technology to be modular and future-proof. The learning engine he developed for driving theory is advanced enough to support any subject area. Whether someone is trying to understand complex traffic situations, pass a math exam or learn a new language, Chris keeps building until Theorio becomes the standard engine for successful, enjoyable learning.

How we write and review our content

  • Every page has one author, who writes and maintains the text. The byline at the top says who.
  • A second person reviews the text against the CBR's course material and the RVV 1990 (the Dutch traffic rules and signs regulations). The byline names them under "Reviewed by".
  • When the rules or the exam change, we update the page. "Updated" is the date of the last change to the content, "Reviewed on" the date the page was last checked.
