About the school

Rijschool van de Mortel is een jonge dynamische rijschool die rijlessen verzorgd voor rijbewijs B (personenauto) in de regio’s Deurne, Asten, Horst aan de Maas, Venray, Meijel, Beringe, Panningen. De vaste instructeur is Remy van de Mortel. Ik ben Remy van de Mortel de vaste instructeur en eigenaar van Rijschool van de Mortel. Ik woon samen met mijn vriendin en 2 kinderen. Ik ben opgeleid als HBO-Verpleegkundige. Ik heb enkele jaren met plezier in de zorg gewerkt maar het bleek toch niet het beroep te zijn wat ik mijzelf zag doen tot mijn pensioen. Ik heb vervolgens besloten om rij-instructeur te worden omdat ik het een leuk beroep vind waar geen enkele dag hetzelfde is en je veel verschillende leerlingen in de auto krijgt. Ik heb in 2016 mijn instructeursbewijs gehaald en ben dus opgeleid volgens de laatste normen en regels. Vervolgens ben ik mijn eigen rijschool gestart. Het leuke aan het beroep vind ik dat je met heel veel verschillende personen werkt en deze personen dingen aan kunt leren zodat ze na het behalen van het rijbewijs veilig de weg op kunnen in een auto. Persoonlijk vind ik het contact met de leerling zeer belangrijk. Om deze persoonlijkheid te waarborgen zal er bij iemand die bij mij wil gaan starten met rijles een proefles aangeboden worden. Na de proefles zal besproken worden hoe het ging en zal ook indien gewenst een gesprek met de leerling en ouders plaatsvinden om uit te leggen hoe ik te werk ga. Tevens wordt hierin besproken wat de leerling van mij mag verwachten. Uiteraard is tijdens dit gesprek alle ruimte om vragen te stellen. Hierna kan een leerling beslissen of hij/zij de rijopleiding bij mij zou willen vervolgen. Ik zal ook altijd rekening houden met de wensen van de leerling. Verder vind ik het van belang dat een leerling zich prettig voelt en dat de lessen in een leuke maar vooral veilige en vertrouwelijke sfeer gegeven worden om zo het beste uit een leerling naar boven te halen. Ik zal daar in ieder geval mijn steentje aan bijdragen.
