1. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to any use of the website theorio.nl and the associated mobile applications of Theorio. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Theorio provides a digital platform for practising the Dutch CBR theory exam. The service consists of practice questions, mock exams, and learning materials. Theorio provides a best-effort service to prepare the user as effectively as possible, but does not guarantee passing the official exam, unless the "Money-Back Guarantee" (see Section 4) applies.

3. Rates and Payments

Access to premium sections of the app (such as 'Intro' and 'Turbo') requires payment.

Web: Payments are processed via Stripe.

App: Payments are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Subscriptions or one-time purchases are strictly personal and non-transferable.

4. Money-Back Guarantee (Turbo)

Users who purchased the Turbo package can claim the "Failed your exam, money back" guarantee (refund of the Turbo package purchase amount) under the following strict conditions:

  • The user has an active Turbo package at the time of the CBR exam.
  • The user has fully completed all 20 available mock exams in the app.
  • The user has passed 5 mock exams in a row on the first attempt.
  • The user has completed at least 1 mock exam flawlessly (0 mistakes) on the first attempt.
  • The user has an overall pass rate above 90% in the app statistics.
  • The refund request must be submitted by email within 14 days after the official CBR exam via [email protected] .
  • The email must include the official CBR result.
  • The name on the official CBR result must exactly match the username provided in the Theorio app.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data such as your email address are used for app functionality. For a full overview, please see our Privacy Policy.

6. Terms of Use

Copying, distributing, or commercialising app content (questions, images, exams) is prohibited. In case of misuse or account sharing, Theorio reserves the right to immediately block access without refund.

7. Liability

Theorio is not liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the app, nor for failing the CBR exam. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid by the user for the service.

8. Changes

Theorio reserves the right to amend these terms. The most recent version published on the website is leading.
