How do we compare?

We compare the same vehicle category and reporting period at the same CBR exam centre. Only first exams at this centre count, not the school total. The school's busiest centre is selected initially. The comparison score weights CBR results at 70% and the whole-school Google rating at 30%. For CBR we use the 95% Wilson lower bound, which accounts for exam volume. About the school

De familienaam Van Dijk is al sinds 1977 een begrip voor kwalitatieve rijlessen in Leeuwarden. Erik van Dijk groeit uit tot een gewilde instructeur voor auto en motorrijles in de tijd dat hij voor zijn vader werkt. In 2011 besluit hij zijn eigen rijschool te beginnen; Van Dijk Verkeersopleidingen. Erik heeft sindsdien samen gewerkt met meerdere enthousiaste instructeurs en er zijn al honderden leerlingen geslaagd. Vanaf 1 januari 2025 heeft Wim Arends de rijschool overgenomen. Erik blijft betrokken bij de rijschool en zal Wim ondersteunen. Samen delen ze de passie om met veel enthousiasme en geduld les te geven. Voor ons staat voorop dat iedere leerling een leerzame, maar vooral ook leuke rijopleiding ervaart. In het begin van mijn rijlessen coach ik je heel goed, zodat je relatief weinig fouten maakt en veel zelfvertrouwen opbouwt. Ik vind het belangrijk dat je zekerder gaat rijden en op die manier ook het rijexamen ingaat. En natuurlijk tekenen, heel veel tekenen… het visueel maken van de verkeerssituaties bevorderd het leerproces. Bij het kiezen van een rijschool zou ik kijken naar een verkeersschool die al een tijd meedraait. Onze prijzen liggen misschien iets hoger, maar goedkoop is vaak duurkoop. Luister vooral ook écht naar ervaringen van vrienden en familie. In mijn rijlessen breng ik je met een positieve benadering naar een hoger niveau. Mijn onderbouwing van de opdrachten doe ik vaak nét iets anders. Omdat ik naast rij-instructeur ook part-time natuurkunde leraar ben, geef ik soms vanuit dat perspectief extra (technische) onderbouwing aan mijn auto- en motorrijlessen. Let bij het kiezen van een rijschool of 1) de rijschool goed staat aangeschreven, 2) deze veel ervaring heeft en dus al langer bestaat en 3) of de resultaten van de rijschool goed zijn; check dit met de slagingspercentages van het CBR.
