About the school

De rijschool is ontstaan doordat wij, Danny, Mike en Mick jaren als collega’s bij een rijschool samengewerkt hebben, waarbij onze denkwijze over kwaliteit, vriendelijkheid en klantgerichtheid op een lijn liggen. Wij vinden dit punten die te weinig aandacht krijgen in onze branche en wilde daar zelf verandering in brengen. Door onze krachten te bundelen heeft Leeuwendael rijinstructie in februari 2021 haar deuren geopend. Wij zijn gevestigd op de Geestbrugweg 101 in Rijswijk. Dit is voor veel mensen een bekende locatie, waar al jaren activiteiten plaatsvinden die te maken hebben met de rijinstructie. Hi, mijn naam is Mike Tjin, ik ben 54 jaar en ben geboren in Suriname.Ik ben getrouwd en samen met mijn vrouw hebben wij een prachtige dochter. Leeuwendaelrijinstructie werd mijn stage adres. Danny Spits, een van de eigenaren, werd mij toegewezen als stagementor waarvan ik de fijne kneepjes van het vak heb geleerd. Een rijschool met potentie naar mijn idee, sympathie was visa versa en resulteerde in deze unieke samenwerking. Naast motor rijinstructeur ben ik beroepsbrandweerman in hartje Den Haag. Dit betekent dat veiligheid bij mij hoog in het vaandel staat. Als leerling bij Leeuwendael les je op moderne Kawasaki Z motoren die bomvol veiligheidsmaatregelen zitten en maak je gebruik van onze goede motorkleding en communicatie apparatuur. Op deze manier begin je op een verantwoordelijke manier aan het avontuur van motorrijden. Wat mij terug deed komen, in dit nieuwe team, is de manier waarop Mick, Mike en Danny met veel enthousiasme, kwaliteit, klantvriendelijkheid en vooral met een lach op hun gezicht zich inzetten voor de leerlingen en zo de rijschool runnen.
