We compare the same vehicle category and reporting period at the same CBR exam centre. Only first exams at this centre count, not the school total. The school's busiest centre is selected initially. About the school

Autorijschool Wim Steintjes bestaat al sinds februari 1982. Met meer dan 4400 geslaagden zijn wij een begrip in de regio. In februari 1982 zijn wij vanuit de Deurvorststraat in Doesburg onze eigen rijschool gestart. Ook Wanda sloot toen aan met het geven van de theorielessen. Onze eerste auto was een Golf en de motorrijlessen werden gegeven op een Honda CM400T. Hierna volgde nog een Golf, dit was één van de eerste auto’s met 5 versnellingen, waarna er nog vele auto’s volgden. Zoals de Opel Corsa, Kadet, Vectra en Astra. Met de Astra hebben we nog in de krant gestaan, omdat ik als één van de eerste in de Astra reed. Dit was de vervanger van de Kadet. In 2001 zijn we verhuisd en hebben we naast de rijschool ook "Het Koffiekabinet" in de Meipoortstraat gerund. Wanda was inmiddels ook bezig met het behalen van haar instructeursbewijs en is vanaf toen, naast de theorielessen, ook rijles gaan geven. Na de Opel zijn we overgestapt op Renault o.a. de Megane en Senic. Hierna een aantal jaren Toyota gereden o.a. Avensis, Corolla en Auris. Met onze nieuwe elektrisch Hyundai Kona les je vanaf nu elektrisch. Door de rust van elektrisch rijden – met zoals je misschien weet altijd een automaat – is het veel prettiger wennen aan het verkeer. Immers, je hoeft niet direct de truc van schakelen óók nog eens te leren (dat komt later wel, als je dat nog wilt). Bovendien helpt de auto jou met rijden vanwege alle elektronische snufjes. Misschien kun je hierdoor wel sneller afrijden in een elektrische auto, scheelt weer geld. Dennis is onze collega instructeur en geeft les in de schakel auto. Helaas voor ons heeft Dennis het goede besluit genomen om een HBO studie te gaan doen per september 2025. En Dennis vindt het heel leuk weer op school.
