How do we compare?

We compare the same vehicle category and reporting period at the same CBR exam centre. Only first exams at this centre count, not the school total. The school's busiest centre is selected initially. The comparison score weights CBR results at 70% and the whole-school Google rating at 30%. For CBR we use the 95% Wilson lower bound, which accounts for exam volume. A lower bound of 30% gives 0 component points and 70% gives 100, with a linear scale between them. This is not the ordinary pass percentage. Google uses 20 reviews at 4.05 as a neutral prior, reducing the influence of small samples. About the school

Autorijschool Wim Ummenthum bestaat al sinds 1982 en heeft kwaliteit en service hoog in het vaandel staan.Dit uit zich onder meer in de bovengemiddelde geslaagdenpercentages in de ruim 35 jaar dat de rijschool actief is in Tegelen-Belfeld-Reuver en omgeving. De laatste jaren schieten nieuw rijscholen als paddenstoelen uit de grond. Met lage prijzen en de meest fantastische aanbiedingen voor de praktijkopleiding proberen zij klanten te lokken. Helaas zijn veel van deze klanten de afgelopen jaren veel duurder dan ze gedacht hadden uitgeweest. Het is in het verleden al vaak gebeurd dat mensen bij een goedkope rijschool gingen lessen en vooraf een heel pakket moesten kopen; na enkele lessen was de rijschool ineens verdwenen of failliet! Weg geld! Wij adviseren je dan ook om NOOIT grote bedragen contant vooruit te betalen aan deze rijscholen. Vraag ook altijd hoelang een rijles duurt !! Vaak lijken de lessen goedkoper maar zijn het maar lessen van 45 of 50 minuten.!! Vaak wordt ook nog eens een financiering afgesloten voor een pakket rijlessen tegen woekerrente. In het pakket zitten vaak veel te weinig lessen om te kunnen slagen. Gevolg is dus: zakken voor het examen en dan nog jaren vastzitten aan betaling voor iets wat je nooit hebt gekregen….. Een rijschool die voor moderne lesauto's zorgt, investeert in opleidingen en bijscholingen voor de instructeurs en mogelijkheden biedt om met modern materiaal de theorielessen te volgen, kan onmogelijk voor een prijs werken die ver onder het gemiddelde ligt. Tenzij de rijschool graag gratis wil werken..... of niet geheel volgens de regels werkt... Aan jou dus de keuze… een betrouwbare, bekende rijschool of je in het diepe gooien en afwachten wanneer en hoe het mis gaat….
