About the school

Al sinds het begin gevestigd in Delft. Roady Rijopleidingen is als Autorijschool Roady begonnen, toen nog een eenmanszaak maar al snel moest er iemand bij komen die de werkzaamheden kon ondersteunen. Nu spelen er andere zaken, zoals: inzicht, anticiperen, zelfstandigheid. Daarom hebben wij bij Roady ook niet stil gezeten want je moet mee met de ontwikkelingen. Ook andere zaken, onder anderen ADHD, faalangst, rijangst, rijproeven bij het CBR speelden toen niet zo’n grote rol. Wij zijn inmiddels uitgegroeid tot specialisten op dit gebied, nadat er vele scholingen en workshops zijn doorlopen. Ook ontwikkelingen op het gebied van nieuwe auto’s zijn niet aan ons voorbij gegaan Hybride auto’s, elektrische auto’s, allemaal veranderingen waar wij iets mee moesten doen. Jaren geleden hebben wij dan ook een Toyota Yaris Hybride aangeschaft om ook de mensen die in een automaat willen rijden van dienst te kunnen zijn. Bovendien belasten wij het milieu hier minder mee. Jaren, en veel andere hybride auto’s later rijden we nog steeds in milieuvriendelijke auto’s ook al onze schakel auto’s horen tot de z.g. klasse A. Naast het geven van rijlessen en theorietrainingen zijn we ook actief bij Veilig Verkeer Nederland, wij begeleiden de mensen die mee doen met de z.g. Broemdagen. Een initiatief van de ANWB, BOVAG en VVN. Op deze dagen kunnen de mensen laten testen of het nog wel verantwoord is om in het verkeer te rijden, ook krijgen zij tips, dat er voor moet zorgen dat ze nog langer verantwoord in het verkeer kunnen blijven rijden. Al geruime tijd ben ik zelfstandige ondernemer. Ik vind het leuk om met mensen om te gaan en hou erg van mijn vrijheid. Geen saaie kantoorbaan maar lekker je tijd zelf in kunnen delen.Vele jaren geleden kwam ik Bert een voormalige rijinstructeur van Roady tegen en daar heb ik mijn stage dan ook gedaan. Van het één kwam het ander en daarom ben ik nu bij Roady gaan rijden. Dit bevalt me erg goed en ben dan ook van plan om dit voorlopig te blijven doen.
