Of 1,535 first tests, 658 came from the 3 busiest school registrations (42.9%). Schools with more tests therefore shape more of the average.

Why the centre average is only part of the picture

13 school registrations each had at least 30 first tests here, covering 1,085 tests. The middle half of their pass rates falls roughly between 47.7% and 64.5%. Look at a school’s own test counts and results as well as the centre.

First tests and retests

At Goes, CBR counted 1,360 retests, with 700 passes and 660 failures (51.5%). They account for 47% of all 2,895 tests. We keep them separate from the first-test rate and ranking. This compares different groups, not the effect of taking another test.

Compared with the national figures

For the same test and dates, the national rate was 48.8%, from 203,403 first tests. This centre is 3.8 percentage points above the national rate. That does not tell you how easy the centre is; different schools and candidates take tests here.

Ask the school how your instructor tracks your progress and works with you to decide when you are ready for the test.
