Test figures for CBR Goes

At Goes, 548 first practical tests for motorcycle road riding (AVD) took place from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. There were 409 passes and 139 failures: a pass rate of 74.6%. The tests came from 29 CBR school registrations.

Compared with the national figures

Nationwide, 74.7% passed from 37,347 first tests of the same type over the same dates. The rate here is 0.1 percentage points below the national rate. This does not prove the centre is easier or harder: schools and candidates differ.

First tests and retests

The file also lists 186 retests, with 133 passes and 53 failures: 71.5%. Of all 734 tests, 25.3% were retests. They stay outside the ranking and first-test rate. The groups differ, so this does not predict your result on another attempt.

Which schools shape the average?

The 3 school registrations with the most first tests accounted for 381 of 548 tests (69.5%). Larger groups therefore count more in the centre average.

Which towns are the schools in?

Schools with tests here are spread across 20 known towns. The largest groups of tests belong to Goes (354), Kapelle (42), and Poortugaal (28). The school town is known for 537 of 548 first tests and missing for 11. These are school towns, not candidate home towns.

Preparing for your practical test

Practise safe, independent riding with your instructor and discuss what still needs work. Car test tips do not automatically apply to motorcycles or scooters. Check CBR’s explanation and requirements for your own test.

Ask the school how your instructor tracks your progress and works with you to decide when you are ready for the test.
