Which light do you switch on here? Dipped headlights are always allowed. At night, in poor visibility and in a tunnel, they're compulsory. Full beam? Only in the dark. A pedestrian? Full beam off. Close behind someone? Off. Oncoming traffic? Off. Rain? Off too.
So full beam only in the dark. Not in rain or fog, and not when you see someone. Remember: blue means full beam. Daytime running lights? In the exam: no. Your rear lights stay off. In a tunnel: dipped headlights. Switch them on before the tunnel. Side lights are for when you're parked.
Parked at night outside a built-up area, on the carriageway? Side lights on. But what if it gets foggy? Less than 200 metres visibility? Front fog lights. Less than 50 metres? Your rear fog light too. In rain: never your rear fog light. Hectometre signs stand every 100 metres.
Can you see the next sign? Then you can see 100 metres: rear fog light off. Those are your car's lights in short. Practise all the questions in the app! Download Theorio and pass your theory test!
