This car is just parked. Yet it's illegal. Why? It isn't insured. Without third-party insurance, called WA, a car may not be on a public road, not even parked. WA is compulsory, straight after you buy the car. Remember: WA pays for the Other car. All-risk pays for All damage, including your own.
A minor bump? Don't stay on the carriageway. Drive together to a safe place. There you fill in the accident report form together, and your insurers sort it out between them. Always carry your driving licence and registration certificate. The police check your insurance and APK digitally.
Registration certificate damaged, taped or a copy? Then you may not drive. A brand new car? First APK: petrol after four years, diesel after three. Driving without a valid APK? The owner and the driver are both to blame. For the CBR exam, remember: Do your APK every year.
After minor damage, go to a car park. You need at least WA insurance. Never drive with a damaged or invalid licence or registration certificate. New car? The first APK is after four years for petrol, and after three for diesel. Check all the exam questions in the Theorio app!
