About the school

De Rijopleiding in Stappen is een opleidingsmethodiek waarbij je stap voor stap leert rijden en leert om al in een vroeg stadium zelfstandig beslissingen te nemen. Hierdoor ben je beter voorbereid op deelname aan het verkeer. De Rijopleiding in Stappen gaat steeds een stap verder richting zelfstandigheid als je de vorige stap voldoende beheerst. De eerste stap bestaat meestal uit een huiswerkopdracht. De laatste stap is dat je iets geheel zelfstandig en in steeds wisselende situaties kunt uitvoeren. In totaal doorloop je op deze manier 46 lesonderwerpen (scripts), verdeeld over vier modules. Je gaat pas naar een nieuw script als je het vorige voldoende beheerst. Hierdoor is er een garantie dat je altijd op de juiste manier op een verkeerssituatie reageert. Iedere module wordt afgesloten met een toets. Na afronding van de eerste twee modules worden je kennis en vaardigheden getoetst. Een rijinstructeur van je eigen vertrouwde rijschool neemt deze toetsen af. In de derde toets maak je kennis met de gang van zaken bij het CBR en kun je alvast wennen aan de examensituatie. De examinator geeft je tips ter verbetering. Bovendien kun je voor de auto vrijstelling verdienen voor de bijzondere verrichtingen van het praktijkexamen. Verder komen in deze toets de onderdelen Zelfstandig rijden en Zelfreflectie aan de orde. De vierde en laatste toets is het praktijkexamen bij het CBR. In de RIS krijg ook huiswerk mee. Het is de bedoeling dat je je thuis op je rijlessen voorbereidt. De tijd die dat vraagt, is voor iedereen verschillend.
