About the school

Vlot, veilig en relaxed rijden Advies van het CBR is theorie en praktijklessen tegelijk te doen. Theorie Op het internet kan je goede theorieles doen en je voorbereiden op het theorie-examen. Autorijschool De Hoop verzorgt ook theorieles. Je kan dan alle vragen stellen over de dingen die je nog niet snapt. Praktijk Stap 1: Beheersing voertuig De eerste lessen zijn gericht op het onder controle krijgen van je voertuig. Sturen, remmen, koppelen en schakelen. De beheersing wordt uitgebreid met bijzondere manoeuvres als: helling trekken, omdraaien, parkeren en stopopdracht. Stap 2: Regels en handelingen in het verkeer Hoe gedraag je je in het verkeer? Het rijden op kruispunten, rotonden en de snelweg komen aan de orde. Ook sociaal gedrag, afstand houden (ruimtekussen), voorspellen, plannen en beslissen zijn in deze fase belangrijk. Stap 3: Zelfstandigheid, vlot en veilig In fase drie doe je zoveel mogelijk zelf. Fouten worden besproken en aangepakt. Meestal werken wij dan met navigatie en krijg je opdrachten, bijvoorbeeld “Rijdt naar het station”. Je werkt aan je zelfstandigheid, zelfvertrouwen in het verkeer en je besluitvaardigheid. Stap 4: Aanvraag examen en routine houden Als ik de indruk heb dat je stap 3 beheerst en je vlot en veilig door het verkeer kan begeven, vragen we het examen aan. Voor de meeste mensen zijn 38 lessen genoeg. De periode tussen het aanvragen van het examen en het examen zélf duurt ongeveer 6 weken. In die periode volg je minimaal 1 les per week om niet de routine te verliezen en je kans van slagen te verhogen. Hip en modern Bij autorijschool De Hoop kan je ervaren wat elektrisch rijden is. Leerlingen die in de automaat lessen, rijden elektrisch, in een hippe Nissan Leaf. Geen gekke optie omdat elektrisch rijden in opkomst is. Het is beter voor het milieu en de brandstofkosten zijn duidelijk lager. Elektrische auto’s zijn allemaal automaten, dus schakelen is dan niet mogelijk. Het is een ontwikkeling naar de zelfrijdende auto die binnen enkele decennia zal verschijnen.
