There's a no-overtaking sign. May you overtake this moped? Yes! A no-overtaking sign only applies to motor vehicles. Remember: two wheels and max 45? Not a motor vehicle. Bicycle, e-bike, speed pedelec, snorfiets and moped. A motorcycle is a motor vehicle: it goes much faster.
So is a brommobiel: it only does 45, but it has four wheels. So you may simply overtake this moped here. But not a motorcycle or a brommobiel. Blue number plate? That's a snorfiets: max 25. Yellow number plate? A moped: max 45. A normal cycle path is only for cyclists and snorfiets riders.
The moped rides on the road. Is it a cycle and moped path? Then the moped must use it. This white sign shows the way. An e-bike up to 25 is just a bicycle. A speed pedelec up to 45 counts as a moped. Licence confiscated? Then you may only cycle, also on an e-bike.
Not a speed pedelec, snorfiets or moped. Check all the exam questions about this in the Theorio app!
