Traffic signs
Closed to motor vehicles towing a trailer.

Closed to motor vehicles towing a trailer. Do not enter with a motor vehicle towing a trailer; a small trailer is included too.

How to recognise the sign

A circular red-bordered sign; read its symbol, text or number for the precise restriction.

Supplementary panel and application

Read a supplementary panel as part of the closure. “Uitgezonderd” (except) with a symbol indicates an exemption; a symbol alone can instead limit application to that group.

Difference from C17 — Maximum length

C10: Closed to motor vehicles towing a trailer. C17: Closed to vehicles and combinations longer than 10 metres. Read the separate application of C17 too; similar appearance does not mean identical meaning.

Practise this sign for your theory exam

No trailers belongs to the Prohibition category. In the CBR theory exam a traffic sign is almost never asked on its own: you are shown a situation and have to know what you may or must do in it. In the free sign trainer you practise the signs by category, with the explanation shown right after every answer.
