- End of priority road.
B2 means the end of a priority road. Beyond it, you cannot rely on the earlier yellow diamond B1 for priority. It does not mean that you must give way at every following junction: check traffic lights, signs and general rules again.
What to do at this sign
Approach the next junction at a speed that lets you assess it. Look for B6, B7 or give-way triangles and establish whether it is an equal-priority junction. At an equal-priority junction, drivers and riders from the right generally have priority, subject to legal exceptions.
Example on the road
You pass a crossed-out yellow diamond and then reach a junction without priority signs. A driver from the right may now have priority, unlike on the previous priority road. The old B1 is no longer a reason to proceed first.
Other conditions to check
B2 ends priority-road status, not access to the road. It is not an end-of-built-up-area sign and does not specify a new speed limit. Keep those different decisions separate when several signs are placed together.
How to recognise the sign
A crossed-out yellow diamond.
Difference from B1 — Priority road
B1 identifies a priority road. B2 crosses out that yellow diamond: it ends that particular status.

Frequently asked questions
- Must I stop at B2?
- The sign alone does not require a stop. Conditions or other signs may make stopping necessary.
- Does traffic from the right always have priority after B2?
- Not always. Reassess the next junction and the rules applying there.

Practise this sign for your theory exam
End of priority road belongs to the Right of way category. In the CBR theory exam a traffic sign is almost never asked on its own: you are shown a situation and have to know what you may or must do in it. In the free sign trainer you practise the signs by category, with the explanation shown right after every answer.
