Test figures for CBR Rijswijk

From 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, CBR counted 10,174 first tests for a car licence (B) at Rijswijk, from 525 school registrations. There were 4,271 passes and 5,903 failures. The pass rate was 42%.

Which towns are the schools in?

School records link 9,942 of 10,174 first tests to 42 known school towns. The largest groups are Den Haag (4,188), Rijswijk (1,664), and Delft (556). The school town is missing for 232 tests. This shows where schools are based, not where candidates live.

Which schools shape the average?

1,188 first tests came from the 3 largest school registrations: 11.7% of all 10,174 tests. The average counts each test, so schools with more tests carry more weight.

Why the centre average is only part of the picture

School figures vary. Among 76 school registrations with at least 30 first tests each, the middle half of pass rates lies roughly between 32.3% and 52.7%. These codes account for 6,586 tests. Consider individual school figures alongside the centre average.

First tests and retests

The file also lists 10,860 retests, with 4,701 passes and 6,159 failures: 43.3%. Of all 21,034 tests, 51.6% were retests. They stay outside the ranking and first-test rate. The groups differ, so this does not predict your result on another attempt.

Compared with the national figures

Nationwide, 48.8% passed from 203,403 first tests of the same type over the same dates. The rate here is 6.8 percentage points below the national rate. This does not prove the centre is easier or harder: schools and candidates differ.

Preparing for your practical test

CBR describes a 55-minute car test, with about 35 minutes of driving. The examiner checks your identity document, theory test validity and completed self-reflection form. Check beforehand what you need for your own situation.

What does the examiner check?

CBR checks observation, car control and giving way, among other skills. Ask your instructor what you still need to practise. The CBR page has tips and videos about common mistakes. These are general tips; the results do not show mistakes or fixed routes for this centre.

Ask the school how your instructor tracks your progress and works with you to decide when you are ready for the test.
