Closed to bicycles and disability vehicles without a motor.

Closed to bicycles and disability vehicles without a motor. The closure applies to bicycles and non-powered disability vehicles; compare the broader closure at C15.

How to recognise the sign

A circular red-bordered sign; read its symbol, text or number for the precise restriction.

Supplementary panel and application

Read a supplementary panel as part of the closure. “Uitgezonderd” (except) with a symbol indicates an exemption; a symbol alone can instead limit application to that group.

Difference from C15 — No bicycles or mopeds

C14: Closed to bicycles and disability vehicles without a motor. C15: Closed to bicycles, mopeds and disability vehicles. Read the separate application of C15 too; similar appearance does not mean identical meaning.

C15 — No bicycles or mopeds

Practise this sign for your theory exam

No bicycles belongs to the Prohibition category. In the CBR theory exam a traffic sign is almost never asked on its own: you are shown a situation and have to know what you may or must do in it. In the free sign trainer you practise the signs by category, with the explanation shown right after every answer.
