Closed to mopeds and disability vehicles with the engine running.

Closed to mopeds and disability vehicles with the engine running. Mopeds, light mopeds and the specified disability vehicles may not enter with their engines running.

How to recognise the sign

A circular red-bordered sign; read its symbol, text or number for the precise restriction.

Supplementary panel and application

Read a supplementary panel as part of the closure. “Uitgezonderd” (except) with a symbol indicates an exemption; a symbol alone can instead limit application to that group.

C13: Closed to mopeds and disability vehicles with the engine running. C15: Closed to bicycles, mopeds and disability vehicles. Read the separate application of C15 too; similar appearance does not mean identical meaning.

No mopeds belongs to the Prohibition category. In the CBR theory exam a traffic sign is almost never asked on its own: you are shown a situation and have to know what you may or must do in it. In the free sign trainer you practise the signs by category, with the explanation shown right after every answer.
